Meet the Partners

History

TraceInline was founded by Kerry Barnett and Martin Stamp in 2012. With 10 years’ experience working in the industry with Independent Probate Research, TraceInline was established to meet the wider research needs of solicitors.

Prior to working in probate research both our partners have a background in financial services and working with solicitors in a professional capacity.

With previous careers in financial services, we believe the same standards and processes could be applied to probate research and other tracing services. One way TraceInline differentiates is this grounding in professional services and working in a regulated environment. Our priority is to build long term relationships and be the business trusted with clients and reputation.

To date most of our new business comes through existing clients and word of mouth; this controlled growth has allowed service levels to be maintained.

I am known for my friendly nature, clients appreciate my commercial and practical approach to meeting their needs.

Experience

My career began as a manager at a Domiciliary Care agency in Portsmouth, where I was responsible for the quality of care, service for our clients and dealing with the local authorities. Managing a team of care workers was challenging but my adaptable and understanding approach proved invaluable.

Family commitments brought about a career change in 2003 and moved into the world of financial services. I gained insight into working practices in a highly regulated industry, the benefits of which I have implemented into my working ethos going forward.

In 2008 I was offered the opportunity to become a partner with Independent Probate Research (IPR). IPR worked the government’s Bona Vacantia list building family trees, locating potential heirs to unclaimed estates and assisting solicitors in the administration of estates.
